I have received my bachelor's degree in English from Bryan College (Dayton, TN) and my Master's Degree in Teaching English as a Second Language from Iowa State. I am currently in my third year in the Higher Education Ph.D. program.

Professional Interests:

I am interested in working with an ABE/ESL program or international program in a community college.

Research interests:

I am currently working with the Office of Community College Research and Policy (OCCRP) team on a research project which investigates the postcollege earnings of community college career and technical education students. I am also interested in studying international education and immigrant education in community colleges.
