Student Profiles

 

"Coursework in the Ph.D. cohort program at Iowa State University has helped me to refine my critical thinking skills. The classmates have developed into a network of colleagues sharing ideas and expertise which contributes positively to the overall quality of the program."

 

Education:

I received a Master of Education degree specializing in Higher Education from Iowa State University, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in accounting and business administration from Wartburg College. I am a Certified Public Accountant. I joined the Higher Education Ph.D. program in 2006.

 

Professional Interests:

As a community college administrator, I am interested in furthering my leadership abilities. On a broader scope, I hope my leadership will help to foster a seamless relationship between K12 schools, community colleges, and 4-year universities as well as our business partners.

 

Research interests:

I am interested in high school students taking college-level courses, as well as presidential leadership qualities and development.
