Vocational Education Sponsored Research Objectives
(July 1, 2006-June 30, 2007)

 

The primary objective for this project is to analyze the Iowa Department of Education MIS data, Iowa Workforce Development unemployment insurance (UI) data, and National Student Clearinghouse data in order to understand the postcollege earnings of community college students. In addition, this website has been set up as a source of information for community college practitioners and administrators to learn more about current CTE research and initiatives. Each of the 15 Iowa community colleges will be given the data for their region, and, regional in-service professional development workshops will be offered to assist community college professionals in using and interpreting data provided through this project.
