About the Vocational Education Accountability

The Vocational Education Accountability (VEA) project is sponsored by the Iowa Department of Education Division of Community Colleges and Workforce Preparation. The goal of the project is to conduct research on the postcollege earnings of community college completers and leavers. Data are derived from the DE Management Information System (MIS), Unemployment Insurance (UI) Data from the Iowa Workforce Development office, and the National Student Clearinghouse.
