Leaf Yi Zhang, born and raised in Zhengzhou, China, received bachelor’s degrees from Zhengzhou University, China, and Fort Hays State University, Hays, KS.  She earned a Master’s in Communication Studies from Fort Hays State University and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in higher education at the Department of Educational Leadership & Policy Studies, Iowa State University, Ames, Iowa.  Her interests focus on educational internationalization & globalization, community colleges, and student success.
