Frankie Santos Laanan is an associate professor in the department of educational leadership and policy studies. His research focuses on college access, minority students' pathway to the baccalaureate and beyond, and the impact of community colleges on individuals and society. He received his Ph.D. in higher education and organizational change from the University of California, Los Angeles.
