Christopher Duree is a PhD student in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies with an emphasis in Higher Education and a research associate focusing on career and technical education. Before his arrival at Iowa State University, he spent the past nine years as the Vice President of Instruction, Chief Academic Officer and Career and Technical Education Dean at Southwestern Community College. He has served as Chairperson for both the Iowa Community College Chief Academic Officers and Career and Technical Education Deans, and as President of the Iowa Association for Career and Technical Education. He has earned an Ed. Spec. degree from Northwest Missouri State University and a Masters Degree from Drake University in Education Leadership and Administration; and a Bachelor of Arts in Education from the University of Iowa.
